Beyond Our Walls

A lot of us can quote Matthew 28:19-20 or are familiar with the Great commission.  For those that are not familar here is a portion of the text below.

Spreading the message that Jesus is both Lord and Christ is so important and the duty weighs on the shoulders of every Christian!  But at times we we get into the habit of only making disciples and baptizing others who are similar to us. We do not go to others who are different. We shy away from spreading the Gospel message to those of differing races, different religious beliefs, or different social statuses. It is our job to make disciples of ALL people.

On the last Sunday of February 2018 I was invited to speak at Impact Church here in Temple Texas. I was met with love and I presented a message from the word of God in love. My sermon text was Acts 2:14-41. The subject title was "What Must I Do?".  Within the message I do my best to bring out the meaning of Peter's sermon for the people of that time and the people of today. I often have two sermons that I like t speak from when I visit other churches and that is "The Stuff of The Kingdom" and "What Must I Do?".  People will ask why and I feel as though I have explained myself. I believe that we have to do a better job of opening lines of dialogue to improve understanding from one person to another, in order to understand the will of God for ALL man.
